What can I tell you? Life's magic.
Last night I went to see some French indie band I'd never heard of. They were playing on a pirate ship on the Seine!
I've been pulled over twice on my bicycle for running red lights (at night, when there was hardly any traffic, except for cop cars apparently... red and blue flashing lights, I promise it'll never happen again, the whole bit...)
My new camera came yesterday! I'm going back to Jardins des Serres d'Auteuil (the most beautiful place in the world) and the huge flea market where I bought my bike (Porte de Montreuil) today so maybe you'll see what these places look like soon.
Nikon d80:
(-) uses a different battery than the d70 so I no longer have a spare battery; takes SD cards so I have fewer of those also, and I always think I'm going to break them like they are sticks of gum; it only came with a French user's manual ...
(+) I get to learn all sorts of French photo vocab as I learn to use it!; more white balance options; higher image quality; it's HERE with ME in PARIS and it WORKS!

Sarah you are amazing, partly because you already have a bike in Paris and partly because you found a way to get fresh amazing coffee from an espresso machine in your home there. It sounds like the perfect place for you. I miss you!
