It would be a mistake for you, the 3 or so readers of my blog, to think that I rank my thoughts or events in my life in a hierarchy of importance and that I write the most important ones here. But here are some vague life-updates that have been lacking.

I've spent the past 3 weeks working, cycling French countryside and mooing at cows, saying 'bonjour' to everyone I see and having them say it back, cooking and eating delicious vegetarian food, sleeping, reading, conversing, teaching myself to be a better listener. I feel rested and healthy, and I've got money to explore and an exciting list of destinations: southern Spain, Morocco, eastern Europe (Zagreb International Folklore Festival!), then Boston to celebrate my best friend's birthday, Ohio to spend time with grandparents, Jacksonville for the unbeatable dad-dog-beach-couch-childhood books combination that I love before starting at BU again in September. Two more years now, because I'm a BA/MA student.
