MOROCK 'N ROLL

Amsterdam, Barcelona (Villanova mostly), Granada (The Alhambra, caves, friendly dogs, people who say 'buenas dias' to strangers!), ferry to Tangiers, then spent last night ridin' on the Marrakesh express! Morocco is hot, colorful, and not as intimidating as I was warned it would be. I think I am beginning to resent the pretentiousness and repressed-ness of Parisians more with every other amazing place that I visit.

Plans are deliberate indefinite, more to travel than to arrive anywhere. We are just vacationing. Secondary roads are preferred. Paved country roads are the best, state highways are next. Freeways are the worst. We want to make good time, but for us now this is measured with emphasis on "good" rather than "time" and when you make that shift in emphasis the whole approach changes.

It's the journey...not the destination...enjoy your travels...for the lighter you travel...the further you go...
